First participants announced! (02-02-2010) |
For the 25th edition of the Haarlem Baseball Week, the first 4 participants are announced.
On July 9, 2010 will in any case the Netherlands, Chinese Taipei, USA and Venezuela started at bat.
The organization is also working hard to have this beautiful field of participants to complement with two more countries participating in the absolute top of the international baseball world.
For Venezuela it is the first time that the will participate Haarlemse Honkbalweek.
The organization is proud with the arrival of Venezuelans. During the 2nd round of the baseball World Cup last September that also took place in Haarlem Venezuelans played 4 matches in the Pim Mulier stadium and there was the first contact with federation. Venezuela was 7th in the World Cup, one place behind the Netherlands, which become 6th.
In 1961 at the Badmintonpad the 1st edition was played, and now almost 50 years later this summer the 25th anniversary will become one big celebration.
Around April 1, 2010 ticket sales will start and the organization will hopefully soon publish the final two participants and the match schedule.
